Sleeping in a blue room creates a calming feeling helping one to relax. Inexpensive white molding is added to the wall to for a sophisticated framing detail. Organic white bed linens are spiced up with splashes of color from throw and pillows.

The play of material--Fortuny fabric with jute, gilding with twigs, raffia and silk--impart a balanced arrangement with the use of color. Window treatments feature steel mesh as sheers, woven plastic fabric as side panels, and silk and Novasuede on the valances. Red-orange plaster walls capture the composition of warm, analogous tones. Complementary purple calls the bed wall into focus, and the dark accents of black and dark brown anchor this integrated space.
